On Saturday May 26, 2018, the Village of Barnwell will pay your tipping fees for unbaggable household garbage that you haul to the Taber Transfer Site. This does not include any construction garbage or trees, branches, etc. (You will be required to give your name and street address for ID) You are required to sort your garbage at the site. If you do not, you will be billed for the penalty incurred. Please note that the Taber Transfer/Landfill Site has a compost pile which is free of charge (just before you go on the scales at the Transfer site.) We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this site and be environmentally responsible. Please not that your bags of compostable materials must be dumped out at this site.
