Many residents throughout the Village are now enjoying the new opportunities that the AXIA Fibre Optic Internet provides. Unfortunately for many residents, who reside on the north side of the Railway tracks, this new Internet service is being patiently anticipated. The timeline for this internet has been delayed another 6 weeks to 2 months, as Fortis has to replace 20 power poles in this part of the Village before AXIA is allowed to install the overhead cables. Fortis has committed to having this project completed by the end of September, and then AXIA representatives will be back in the Village doing the installs for this phase 3 projects in the beginning of October.
