Easter Utility Changes
Due to the statutory holidays this weekend, the following changes to garbage and recycling schedules are in effect:
- RECYCLING South Side of Barnwell moved to Thursday, April 14th
- GARBAGE Pick Up for the whole Village will be Monday, April 18th

SEWER LINE CLEANING
The Village of Barnwell will be having the Sewer Line Mains flushed as part of annual maintenance commencing October 20, 2021. You may notice some sewer smell and noise in your home’s sewer lines.
To help alleviate any back splash in your toilets, please keep your toilet seat lids down, especially in the basement.
(This annual flushing could possibly take up to 3 weeks)

Election Day in the Village will coincide with the Referendum and the Senate Election and will be held on October 18, 2021.
Barnwell is starting our very own Pickleball League!
Everyone is welcome to join at no cost. League starts at 7:30pm at the pickleball courts at Willow Park and will be every Monday and Wednesday through the summer.
If there is enough interest, we may even throw in a 3rd day and divide into groups. But for the first while, just come out and learn the game and have fun!
Of course, if you have your own paddles, please bring them.
December Special Meeting of Council
A Special Meeting of Council will be held on Thursday, December 3rd @ 5:30. This meeting of council will be to discuss the potential for a Village of Barnwell Mask By-law.
The Meeting will be held in Council Chambers located at 612 Heritage Road. All meetings are open to the public but we are strongly encouraging public to practice their social distancing. We thank you for your consideration.

December Regular meeting of Council will be held on Thursday, December 10 , 2020. Meetings are at 6:00pm.

License Renewal
All Village of Barnwell Dog and Business licenses expire as of December 31st, 2020. You can start purchasing your Licenses for the 2021 year at any time now at the Village of Barnwell office, 612 Heritage Road at the following rates:
Dog Licenses
Not neutered/spayed – $50.00 per dog/per annum
Neutered/spayed – $25.00 per dog/per annum
Restricted dogs -$100.00 per dog/annum
Fines will be issued for unlicensed Dogs.
Business Licenses
Residents
Single business, trades, occupations – $25.00 per annum
Home Occupations – $25.00 per annum
All new businesses/home occupations must apply at the Village office for a license to operate.
Non-Residents
All business, trades, or occupations – $100.00/annum, $25.00/week or $10.00/day.
Hawkers, peddlers – $10.00 per day
Fines may be issued for any unlicensed dogs or businesses.
