THE MD OF TABER REGIONAL FIRE SERVICE IS NOW RECRUITING MEMBERS FOR OUR NEW JUNIOR FIREFIGHTER PROGRAM
The Junior Firefighter Program is a training program for young men and women, ages 16 -18, interested in serving their community and preparing to become active Firefighters upon reaching the age of 18. At age 18, the Junior Firefighter may be eligible to switch over to full volunteer member status. The best way to see what it’s like to be a volunteer firefighter is to hear the perspectives of people who do it each day. Meet a few folks who serve their community in this unique way and learn what their work is really like. Being a volunteer firefighter is about a lot more than just putting out fires. It’s an opportunity to learn cutting edge skills that prepare you to help members of your community when they need it most.
Being a volunteer firefighter is not about what you look like, what degree you have, or where you come from. It is about one thing: heart. Do you have what it takes to serve your community?
APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT ANY OF OUR 5 FIRE HALL LOCATIONS.
