NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VILLAGE OF BARNWELL
IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA

PROPOSED BYLAW NO. 5-19

To be held at 6:00 p.m., June 20, 2019
Barnwell Council Chambers – 612 Heritage Road

PURSUANT to sections 230, 606, and 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26, the Council of the Village of Barnwell in the Province of Alberta hereby gives notice of its intention to consider proposed Bylaw No. 5-19 being the Torrie Porter Development Area Structure Plan for lands legally known as Lot 13, Block 1, Plan 071 3622 and that portion of the SW ΒΌ 28-9-17 W4M which is located within the Village of Barnwell.

WHEREAS the purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 5-19 is to establish a framework and standards and requirements regarding the future development of an 18 lot residential development on the lands Residetnial land use designation.

AND WHEREAS the municipality wishes to provide for orderly growth and development to occur while minimizing land use conflicts;

THEREFORE, TAKE NOTICE THAT a Public Hearing to consider the proposed Bylaw No. 5-19 will be held in the Barnwell Council Chambers, 612 Heritage Road at 6:00 p.m. on June 20th , 2019.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT anyone wishing to make a presentation regarding the proposed Bylaws should provide written comments to the Municipal Administrator no later than 12:00 noon on June 17th, 2019. Council may hear from persons who did not indicate in writing to the Municipal Administrator their intention to make a submission.

Those persons making submissions will be limited to ten (10) minutes in duration and if need be longer, as council deems necessary. Copies of the bylaw are available to the public for viewing during regular office hours and copies will be provided at cost.
