The Village of Barnwell has removed a row of trees at Willow Park and would like to offer them, free of charge, to any residents that are looking for firewood.- on a first come first serve basis. They are located on the NE corner of Willowpark (Corner of 2nd Street W and 7 Avenue W). Please note the logs are large and will need to be split. If you need assistance loading them on a trailer, please contact the Village Office at 403-223-4018. Any logs remaining as of December 1st, will be discarded.
These trees were removed for safety reasons because of their age and deteriorating state. The Village will be planting new younger trees in their place in the Spring.
