The development as specified in Application No. 01/14 for a hall on 4th St W has been reviewed by the Municipal Planning Commission and was:
Refused for the following reasons:
- Not a suitable development for this residential area
- Large increase of traffic volume on narrow residentially designed roads provides increased safety risk for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic
- Architectural design of building is not compatible with surrounding area
- Unpaved parking lot creates environmental concern with dust filtering to surrounding neighbors
